Grant Received

A significant Northstar grant from the Library Services and Technology Act for Northstar has been received through the Friends of the St. Paul Public Library. This will improve basic digital literacy among adults with barriers to employment and education through: establishing collaborations between libraries and adult literacy organizations in five Greater Minnesota communities to increase digital literacy using Northstar; upgrading Northstar modules and develping a new module, Social Media; and creating an online Digital Badge through Mozilla that will be available on cuccessful completion of Northstar Certtificates.
