NSOL Available Publicly During COVID-19March 13, 2020
Northstar is making our Northstar Online Learning (NSOL) unit on Basic Computer Skills available publicly for a period of time to serve those who may be unable to access services in public locations due to COVID-19 restrictions.
We anticipate this may be a month to two months, but we will re-evaluate as time goes on. Typically only subscribing testing locations have access to these materials, but we hope that by making these public that others may be able to benefit by continuing to develop their digital literacy skill. Some things to note:
- Northstar is unable to offer direct support to the general public due to limited resources. We encourage learners to connect with one of our testing locations for assistance.
- For the general public, progress in NSOL is not saved (individuals need to have a learner account set up by one of our testing locations to save their progress); however, individuals can navigate to different sections and lessons via the menu in the upper-right corner.
- If you are not logged in, you also will not see the section review questions. They will remain locked.
